The Danish minister Ms Ulla Tørnæs is second from the right

The Danish Minister Ms Ulla Tørnæs visited the MS TCDC on 04/02/2008, she visited to see how MS TCDC perform its activities as a part of the development activities that are supported by the Danish Government. She had a meeting with the MSTCDC management and Regional Training and Development Advisors.
During her visit, the Danish minister called on Tanzanians to develop a stronger civil society, saying NGOs were important drivers of development at grassroots levels.
The minister was also accompanied by other delegates who were; State Secretary, Ambassador Mr. Ib Petersen; Minister’s secretary Mr. Anders Garly Andersen; Press Secretary Ms. Dorthe Lysdal Sørensen; Danish Ambassador for Tanzania Mr. Bjarne Henneberg Sørensen and Counsellor for the Danish Embassy in Dar es Salaam Mr. Lars Mikkel Johannessen.
