Vacancy at MS TCDC
MS-Training Centre for Development Cooperation
is a non-profit institution located in Usa River outside Arusha. Throughout the year the centre provides high quality catering services for 100-150 clients. Our kitchen plays a major role in ensuring that the food produced is composed and presented to fit the wide diversity of the clients served by the Centre in a professional way and it meet the set standards.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced cook.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Making sure that food is produced hygienically for customers and staff in collaboration with the rest of cooks in his/her shifts.
· Making sure that the kitchen is operating efficiently
· Making sure that the kitchen is always clean, cleaning chemicals are effectively used as advised by chemical suppliers and that all working equipment are well arranged.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Form four or above and should be a Tanzanian.
· Holder of a certificate in cookery/food production from a recognised Institution, preferably Utalii College, National College of
Tourism or Arusha Hotel Training Institute
· Not less than 3 years work experience.
· Fluency in both written and spoken English.
· Must be able to work under minimum supervision and under pressure.
· She/he should be able to attend both customers and members of staff intelligently and cordially.
· Good team player

MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation has more than 30 years experience in providing high quality training, consultancies and conference facilities to civil society organisations and their partners. The centre also offers Kiswahili language training programmes for expatriates coming to live and work in East Africa.
