Notes for DS applicants
1. Attach copies of certificates and transcripts of your academic qualifications. Please note that your application will not be processed if these are not attached.
2. Minimum age is 25 years.
3. Relevant development work experience of 5 years
4. All applicants applying through their organisations are advised to seek approval from their employers for the full course before submitting their applications.
5. English is the language of instruction at the centre. A high proficiency in the English language is required for successful participation in the programme.
6. Applicants are responsible for raising funds for the course. Applicants who are MS-Partners need to liase with the MS-Country Office to qualify for the subsidy.*
7. Participants from outside Tanzania need to obtain a valid visa for the duration of the course.
8. This is an application to join the course. After joining, participants will go through an exam registration process. You will be expected to sit for and pass examinations, and write an applied research project to qualify for the B.A in Development Studies. This course is accredited by the Higher Education & Training Awards Council (HETAC) of Ireland **.
9. If you apply for the B.A. in Development Studies, you will have to send copies of relevant certificates and transcripts of academic qualifications.

* MS-partners on subsidy can only stay in shared accommodation. If you opt for a single room accommodation, you have to pay the difference.
** HETAC is a national body that is responsible for accrediting all third level courses in Ireland.
