Intro:
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to MS-Training Center for Development Corporation (MS-TCDC) website.

Established in 1967, as part of development cooperation agreement between the Governments of Tanzania and Denmark, , MS-TCDC is dedicated to stand in solidarity with the 4.8 billion people who live in poverty through enhancing their individual capacity to lead to positive changes in organizations and translate into collective action for social change.  At TCDC, we believe that collective action is a key to restoring hope and the dignity of the global 4.8 billion people who are poor because of our individual and collective failure to demand accountability and democracy from our leaders.

We are proud to present you with this website through which we wish to keep you informed of our transformative training and related capacity building services and invite you to join our efforts as we work with change agents and development practitioners to develop concrete, practical, action invoking training and other knowledge related services.

Our training for change and related services are founded on our three core values –relevant in a sense that they fit the context of the participant; empowering – that is they provide tools for transformation and enable people to affect change for themselves and for others and innovative- that is they provoke, challenge, surprise and bring people out of the “normal” box. Our training approach is based on experiential learning where we firmly believe that all our participants have diverse and useful experiences and that adults learn best when facilitated to share and learn from those experiences in interaction with tested frameworks. At TCDC, a shared learning platform provides an opportunity for inexperienced but inspired and change driven individuals to gain confidence and skills for social action. Our strategic partnership with Action Aid International, through our parent organization -MS-Action Aid International Denmark, ensures that our transformative training and knowledge related services are informed by lessons from development practices in 40 plus countries where Action Aid International is operational. Our trainers, mostly drawn from across Sub Saharan Africa enrich our training and knowledge related services with a wealth of academic and development experience.

To our participants and supporters, we remain grateful and appreciative to you all for remaining loyal to our services and  giving us confidence in doing what we are doing.  Our strengths and continued presence relies on your support, thoughts and ideas and thus we invite you to keep us going.  I hope you will find this website interesting and useful.
