Furthermore, the centre is covered by a wireless network that makes it easy to connect to the internet with a laptop from anywhere on the centre including the accommodation areas.

 

Most laptop computers will automatically access the internet if they have a wireless card. If you think you have a wireless card in your computer but can't access the internet, or if you're not sure if you have a wireless card, you are always welcome to contact the staff in the IT department in the office connected to the computer room.

 

If you want to use your laptop to send emails through an email client like Outlook or Outlook Express, you need to change the setup of the program. Please contact the IT department and the staff will advise you.

 

The centre arranges courses in basic computer skills (contact the centre for information on schedules etc.).
