Welcome to MS-TCDC, Dar es Salaam
MS-TCDC, Dar es Salaam centre was opened in August 2010 to offer similar courses in Dar es salaam. The same courses offered in Arusha run in Dar es salaam and within the premises of our sister organisation - The Global Platform Dar es Salaam. Both MS-TCDC and the Global Platform Dar-es Salaam are part of the bigger family within the Training for Change ActionAid Denmark. In Training for Change we provide people with knowledge, attitude and skills to organise themselves, so that through innovative and well organised activities, are able to gain political, economic and social control.
Global Platform – Dar es Salaam, is an intervention within T4C seeks to promote social change, through training, active youth are given the tools to act and create social change
Our main focus at Training for Change in Dar es Salaam campus is youth and Global Citizens trainings. We run a 10 weeks education programme, Global Change, which seeks to empower and support young people to become change makers. courses offered are toolbox trainings in youth leadership, campaigning, social entrepreneurship and much more. In addition, we are proud to offer some of the global governance courses that are running at MS-TCDC in Arusha with great success, last but not least we continue the popular Swahili classes at different levels and lengths with skilled trainers from TCDC in Arusha.

MS-TCDC is placed in the urban wilderness of Dar es Salaam in Upanga area; close to the city centre and the beach. The Global Platform consists of two major buildings, one with classrooms and workshop areas, the other a guesthouse.
The training facilities include three large classrooms for 15-30 persons and a number of smaller rooms for office use, workshops and group work.
There is wireless internet access, a computer area and a copy machine available.
Additionally, there is an outdoor area, which can be used for group work and where lunch is served on weekdays.
The Guesthouse can accommodate up to 18 people in 10 comfortable rooms. There is also a kitchen, balcony, sitting room with TV and relaxing outdoor areas.
Gender separated accommodation is possible.
24 hours security service is provided.
Rates for accommodation ranges from 15 Dollars pr. night. Laundry service is available.
