Conference Facilities

MS TCDC  located 18km from Arusha and 32km from Kilimanjaro International Airport. The Centre started delivering trainings back in 1967, welcoming thousands of participants from CSOs, NGOs, FBOs, public bodies and private institutions for our trainings focused on Governance, Development, Accountability and Leadership, to mention a few.

Our privileged location on the outskirts of Mount Meru, guarantees those coming for trainings, workshops and conferences, a conducive environment for both learning and participation while being exposed to the most cosmopolite centre in the region.

Since 2014 MS TCDC has experienced a growing number of bookings for conferences, seminars and workshops linked to the best quality-price ratio offered in the area according to the evaluations received. Being a NGO devoted to community training development makes MS TCDC highly used by other likeminded national and international institutions. This enriches the atmosphere and mushrooms sector networking.

Since the beginning, MS TCDC has done its best to provide our visitors with the highest service and top quality together with our humble simplicity, beautiful gardens and exuberant natural surroundings.

We offer different sized conference and meeting rooms allowing groups from 5 to 100 participants confortably stay in our campus. Our venues have Wi-Fi connectivity, are fully equipped with wall projectors, podium, flip chart stands and various sitting arrangements options. Depending on your needs, we can allocate you a venue with its own breakrooms and little bandas outside.

We provide two flipcharts, a stand and two marker pen boxes. In addition we can provide all other stationary needed as well as IT requirements. All the venues have close by water dispensers, with both hot and cold water, and we will be glad to provide our known Tea & Bites twice a day.


There are 24hr security checks at the gate entrance, and the entire MS TCDC compound is surrounded by an electric fence, guaranteeing safety within the premises.


Restaurant and Mahali Café

Our intercontinental buffet dining hall has a capacity for over 100 people at a time, with the possibility of over 160 people if need be.

Different meal options and needs can be provided as we have experience catering for vegan, vegetarian, diabetic or gluten-free diets, as well as Muslim special dietary requirements. These requirements can be met with advanced notice.

We can also provide lunch boxes for those cases where a meal is to be taken outside the Centre.

Attached to the dining hall, we have our Mahali Café where visitors can enjoy a coffee as well as soft and hard drinks. Opening hours are 10:00-23:00hrs every night, until later on Fridays and Saturdays. It is the best place to come in contact with other groups using our facilities.



Our Accommodation
We can accommodate +200 beds on the premises through our different accommodation types, ranging from suites and singles rooms, to double rooms, family rooms and hostels. If required, we can even set up our camping tents in our beautiful green surroundings.


Other Services.

MS TCDC can provide assistance on what refers to special needs such as VISA procedures, air ticketing, ground transportation, special transportation, as well as facilitating the sessions of your meeting. If you require assistance on any of these needs, please inform us in good time.

Social Entertainment & Safaris

It is frequent that our workshop guests choose to have an opening event, for participants to socialize and get to know each other, or a closing event to celebrate. This can include music and a traditional nyama choma (barbeque) served outdoors at our big banda. Music can be in the form of live music, a DJ, or a show from one of the different ngoma (African drums and dance) groups that we have partnered with.


For those staying over the weekend or for a longer period, we can assist in organizing from half day to multi day safaris with our carefully selected safari company and cultural tourism program partners. They provide a range of possibilities from a walk around the nearby Duluti Lake, discovering the wonders of the world such as Ngorongoro Conservation Area, or perhaps even a trip to Zanzibar Island. In order to ensure proper arrangements and to receive the best experience, please book in advance.


Our Gym and Sports Facilities

Our customers can have access to our fully equipped gym for a small fee, where they can do their own workouts or join in some of the scheduled classes. Attached to the gym we have a free access squash court ready to be used. MS TCDC also has a basketball/tennis court, volleyball courts and a small football field. Sports equipment can be collected/borrowed from the library. Everyone is welcome to join the running club that departs from the Front Office at 06:30hrs on weekdays.


Booking a venue

To book a venue with us please fill an online form below or dowload a word file to be filled and send back to us. After contacting MS TCDC, the client will receive a quotation for the desired booking. In order to secure the booking, a minimum payment of 25% of the quotation is required. This should be settled a month prior to commencement of the meeting or workshop. Full payment, or payment of the pending amount, is welcome before the meeting commences.

Approval of the quotation and subsequent booking payment will acknowledge the client’s understanding and approval of MS TCDC’s Cancellation & Refund policy.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
As mentioned above, we require a deposit of 25% of the total cost before confirming reservations for conferences, seminars and workshops. For cancellation, we will refund the deposit according to the number of weeks prior to the date of arrival.

  • More than 12 weeks prior to the planned arrival: 100%.
  • Between 8-12 weeks prior to the planned arrival: 50%.
  • Less than 8 weeks prior to the planned arrival: No refund.

If the number of participants turns out to be less than originally booked, we will still charge for accommodation according to the confirmed booking. We cannot guarantee accommodation for a greater number of participants than originally booked. No refunds will be made for meals not taken by individual participants.
